چکیده

The paper deals with an approximate analysis of non-linear oscillation problems with slowly varying system parameters. From the differential equations for amplitude and phase, set up by the method of variation of parameters, the approximate solutions are obtained by using the generalized averaging method of Sinha and Srinivasan based on ultraspherical polynomial expansions. The Bogoliubov-Mitropolsky results are given by a particular set of these polynomials. Problems of a single degree of freedom system as well as monofrequency oscillations in systems with multiple degrees of freedom are considered. The approach has been illustrated by an example and the results are compared with the numerical solutions. A close agreement is found.

Adaptive fuzzy pole placement for stabilization of non-linear systems

A new approach for pole placement of nonlinear systems using state feedback and fuzzy system is proposed. We use a new online fuzzy training method to identify and to obtain a fuzzy model for the unknown nonlinear system using only the system input and output. Then, we linearized this identified model at each sampling time to have an approximate linear time varying system. In order to stabilize...

The Response of Two-Degree of Freedom Self-Sustained Systems with Quadratic Nonlinearities to a Parametric Excitation (RESEARCH NOTE)

In this study the interaction between self-excited and paramet rically excited oscillations in two-degree-of-freedom systems with quadratic nonlinearities is investigated. The fundamental parametric resonance of the first mode and 3:1 internal resonance is considered, followed by 1:2 internal and parametric resonances of the second mode. The method of multiple time scales is applied to derive f...

Weighted L 2 -norms for Analysis of an Adaptive Control Loop Based on a Non-linear Model

Here it is shown that the use of weighted l2-norms is a useful tool for the analysis of adaptive control loops based on non-linear models. We apply a simpliied feedback linearizing controller based on a linearly parameterized non-linear discrete-time input/output model with slowly time-varying parameters. The main assumption that is required in order to apply weighted l2-norms for analysis is t...

SCA based Fractional-order PID Controller Considering Delayed EV Aggregators

The EVs battery has the ability to enhance the balance between the load demand and power generation units. The EV aggregators to manage the random behaviour of EV owners and increasing EVs participation in the ancillary services market are employed. The presence of aggregators could lead to time-varying delay in load frequency control (LFC) schemes. The effects of these delays must be considere...

Stability Analysis of Non-Local Euler-Bernoulli Beam with Exponentially Varying Cross-Section Resting on Winkler-Pasternak Foundation

In this paper, linear stability analysis of non-prismatic beam resting on uniform Winkler-Pasternak elastic foundation is carried out based on Eringen's non-local elasticity theory. In the context of small displacement, the governing differential equation and the related boundary conditions are obtained via the energy principle. It is also assumed that the width of rectangle cross-section varie...
